I am open to working in either long-term or short-term counselling relationships, and am happy to discuss what your needs are as a client. We can explore this in our first session, whether you feel we are a good fit and how you would like to work with me, but I am also equally happy to take each session as it comes and keep an open dialogue throughout our counselling relationship.
Counselling sessions cost between £50 – 70 per 50 minute session depending on ability to pay (£40 – 45 for students/low-income) which can be paid by bank transfer to be made in advance of the session. I ask for 24 hours notice of any cancellations, otherwise the fee is still payable.
I am currently working online via Whereby or telephone. I may offer face-to-face appointments again in future but cannot yet offer a timescale on when this would be.
If before meeting you would find it helpful to have a quick chat over the phone call I am happy to organise this and discuss any questions or reservations around the counselling process you may have.
I work in accordance with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy Ethical Framework and attend monthly supervision inline with this. Sessions are confidential unless I felt either yourself or someone else was in imminent danger, there was risk to a child or vulnerable person or the law required me to do so, however I would do my best to discuss matters and work together to decide how to go forward.
